DescriptionBasic Scope/Purpose:

Sales/Marketing position is responsible for securing and maintaining maximum sales of company services. As a sales/marketing representative at Tooling Dynamics, you will have the opportunity to work closely with all departments to generate new business, find solutions, and fulfill the needs of prospective customers.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Contacts various present and potential customers for purposes of selling company products.Assist in the development of annual strategic sales plan for company’s diverse range of technical products.Apply consultative selling methodology to identify and understand current and future customer needs and opportunities to introduce and sell services and solutions to the customer.Actively monitor & maintain key performance indicators of customer relative to supplier performance standards.Develop and execute customer strategic account growth plans in line with the business strategy.Collaborate internally with Engineering and other functional departments to explain customer strategic account growth plans and inspire execution.Issue quotations for all new part inquiries; review price schedules, discount rates, and create sales contracts.Monitor and maintain all open quotes and key opportunities; negotiate as necessary to secure the contracts.Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities by in-person meetings with customers and partners.Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company with our customers and look for new market development opportunities.Track and report sales statistics and status of pending contracts for personal and team targets for monthly revenue accounting, forecast and activity.Manage CRM system.Maintain complete and accurate sales data and support materials (i.e., CRM tools) as related to selling efforts.Maintain expenses within budgetary limits.Keep sales representatives and sales organization informed on all major activities, new developments, and may obtain approval prior to taking any action where policies are not clear or adequate.Handle marketing activities such as brochures, mailings, company website, and trade shows.Follow safe work practices and keep the work area clean and organized.Perform related duties as assigned.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.RequirementsEducation and Experience Requirements/Preferences:Strong selling and verbal/written skills when dealing with internal/external customers.Keen analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail oriented with strong project management skills.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.Skills & Physical Requirements:Knowledge and fluent use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.Prolonged periods sitting, with computer and other office machine usage.Prolonged periods of standing/walking.Fluent speech with the ability to communicate using telephone.Must be available for travel within the continental US up to 50% of time.
