As a Marketing and Communications Associate, you will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote our fundraising events and initiatives. You will craft compelling content for various channels, assist in event planning and execution, conduct market research, and engage with the community and media to raise awareness about our events and causes.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement marketing and communication strategiesCraft compelling content for social media, email, press releases, and promotional materialsAssist in planning and executing fundraising events, ensuring effective communication with stakeholdersConduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partnersCollaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brandingEngage with the community and media to raise awarenessMonitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts
Desired Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and project management abilitiesCreative thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentFlexibility to work some evenings and weekends for eventsPassion for making a positive impact through fundraising and community engagement
