The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating graphics for apparel. This position will collaborate cross-functionally in order to stay in-line with business needs and current retail market trends.Responsibilities:
Create graphics for apparel within specific timelines for the preparation and release into the marketFollow graphic design concepts consistent with brand strategiesConduct research on retail market trends and translate into graphicsInterpret trend boards and design direction in order to develop graphicsEnsure that the product is consistent with market trends while maintaining brand identityCollaborate with Production on execution, cost, and timingParticipate in brainstorming sessions for new concepts for upcoming season’s graphicsWork with Manager to develop inspiration boards and translate concepts and boards into key itemsWork with design to complete concepts and pitch sheetsEnsure colors of graphics match the vision for the current apparel and accessoriesAssess and troubleshoot artwork production samplesMaintain project libraries and organize graphics by season and conceptEducation and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in art or related field3+ years of experience in fashion graphicsExperience with KaleidoSkills and Behaviors:
Advanced proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.Ability to design around conceptsAbility to work independently under general directionStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast paced work environment
