Who You Are and What You'll Do

The UI / UX Design Manager is responsible for leading UX design work on all solution requirements across North America D&A. The role will be accountable for ensuring UX design components of proposals are completed in a timely fashion and contributing towards cost & time estimates for solution delivery. The UX lead will be accountable for detailed UX reviews of solutions delivered by third-parties to ensure compliance with designs.

Your responsibilities include:

Design customer-first products and solutions ready to be built, tested and developed further to meet the needs of users.

Pushing the usability and market success of new and current interactive digital products, enabling us to fulfill our ambitious business objectives.

Creating wireframes, low/hi fidelity prototypes and visual designs that effectively communicate the product vision and user experience.

Running and managing ideation, brainstorming, user interviews and stakeholder workshops to experiment with different designs and validate assumptions.

Conducting research and analysis to understand user needs and behavior.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Bachelors Degree with 4 years of relevant experience including mastery of the interactive development process.

Thorough knowledge and experience planning, documenting and leading interactive analytics products (Web, Mobile App, Intranet, Web App).

Immersed in UX best practices.

5 years of experience as a UX PM/Lead, Information Architect or related user experience position.

Demonstrable experience with information architecture for websites and apps.

A zealous “user” advocate.

Strong affinity for the digital lifestyle and zealous drive to make interactive technology better for real people.

Excellent communication skills, both external and internal, bridging the gap between visual design, functional development, and content.

A Designer’s Eye – Must be able to translate complex concepts and interactions into visually coherent wireframes or prototypes.

Relentless desire to learn and leverage the latest Web technologies.

Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable:

Define digital strategies.

Produce app maps, wireframes, prototypes and UX requirements documentation.

Proficiency/expertise in: InDesign, Axure RP, Figma, JIRA, and other interactive prototyping tools.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $96,000 to $143,900. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible. Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
