Position Description

CGI is seeking a UX Designer to join our hard-working team! We take an innovative approach to supporting our clients, working side-by-side while using emerging technologies.Your future duties and responsibilities

Serves as strategist and facilitator by leading overall design efforts to align with business and technical objectives and stakeholder expectations.Works to identify user needs, goals, and challenges. Connects strategy and execution by creating road maps, user research and communication plans, and collaboration with designers, developers, and leads.Applies visualization, design thinking, and collaboration tools to conduct User Experience/Human Center Design workshops.Utilization of user research tools and facilitation including usability testing and survey creation and analysis, as well as user interface design methodologies including mockups, wireframes, and UX guidelines.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience.Able to design and conduct research activities.Hands-on experience in usability testing and analysis.Experienced in moderating one-on-one task-based testing and creating surveys.Able to execute qualitative and quantitative user research.Experienced in connecting strategy and execution by creating road maps, user research, and communication plans, and collaboration with designers and leads.Ability to apply visualization, design thinking, and collaboration tools to conduct workshops.Experienced in utilizing user research tools and facilitation including usability testing and survey creation and analysis, as well as user interface design methodologies including mockups, wireframes, and UX guidelines.Expertise with user-focused designs and workflows based on complex data models leveraging HCD market analysis, customer feedback and requirements, and user research analytics.Expertise in designing mock-ups and click-through prototypes, identifying streamlined UX opportunities incorporating emerging technology trends.Expertise in developing high-level requirements, conceptual diagrams, and visual interface designs.Expertise in creating key design deliverables specific to each product, such as scenarios and use cases.Expertise with UX strategy and iterations focusing on HCD for at least five (5) years.OPTIONAL: Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required

Salesforce, Dynamics, Pega, Or Other Relative Certification/s, PreferredThis position can be in either Lafayette, LA; Knoxville, TN; Belton, TX; or Lebanon, VA.In some jurisdictions, CGI is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,700 – $170,900.Benefits
