If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, apply today!Job Description:The Content Marketing Specialist is a key player on our internal marketing team and will be responsible for ideating, generating, and editing content across various channels to improve conversion rates and enhance solar education. Common responsibilities include creating high-quality content, conducting competitive research, optimizing long- and short-form content and resources, identifying new opportunities through keyword research, making website page edits, and editing other marketing materials as necessary. They must be a go-getter and problem solver.Essential Duties:Develop brand campaigns, calendars, and content, and create engaging, high-quality content for website, email, and social media to maximize reach and impact.Edit content and provide improvement recommendations.Use consumer insights to shape content strategy and messaging.Monitor and analyze content performance through tracking engagement, conversion rates, and ROI to assess the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions for optimization.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.Ensure content adheres to legal and regulatory requirements as well as brand guidelines and standards to mitigate risks and maintain brand integrity.Collaborate with Digital and Content Marketing Manager to identify and implement new keyword opportunities.Manage and maintain content calendars and workflows by coordinating with internal teams for seamless content delivery.Provide training and support to team members on content best practices and tools.Qualifications:Experience in content marketing strategy and research.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong work experience showing conceptual/creative proficiency and detail-oriented work practices.Ability to think strategically to identify and define keyword opportunities for optimization.Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and SEO software such as Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, or other SEO management tools.Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent preferred.Comfortable working in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.Key Competencies:Responsiveness and consistent communication.Prioritize and manage time efficiently.Follow established processes and procedures.Goal-oriented, driven by a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on the company's success.Think strategically and find creative solutions.Analytical and confident thinker.Proactive, can work independently and with a team.Organized and can work efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
