World leading screening services in animal sports and human drugs.Job DescriptionReporting to the Marketing Programme Manager, the Marketing Executive provides support for the development and execution of marketing plans to drive growth. This will include involvement in all areas of marketing, from developing and revising content, event planning, and sharing communications through owned, earned and paid channels.Working with the Marketing Programme Manager and the wider LGC Assure marketing team, the Marketing Executive will translate ideas and content into multi-format marketing collateral. This will be distributed through multiple channels to drive top-of-funnel interest and progression through to qualification. This will involve development of email marketing programmes (newsletters, nurture campaigns & automation), social media engagement, and online presence.The role will support campaigns using the marketing software platform so that leads are captured centrally, and their effectiveness and progress can be tracked, and to facilitate reporting on success measures as determined by the Commercial Leadership Team.The marketing team will support this role with the building of the brand through PR and media relations, internal communications, and the publication of thought leadership and opinion pieces.Core Responsibilities:To reinforce a strong brand presence through consistent messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning across all marketing channels.To support the drive for lead generation efforts through targeted campaigns, optimizing conversion rates, and leveraging various channels, such as digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, social media, and partnerships.To produce and develop researched, well-written, and relevant content for marketing campaigns that relate to applications and workflows.To build, optimize, and launch digital assets (email, landing pages, forms, etc.) for promotional, lifecycle, and transactional marketing campaigns.To translate product information into easy to understand and engaging content for customers.To proof-read content for alignment with brand standards, style, voice, and campaign objectives.To implement initiatives that engage existing customers, drive upsells, and foster long-term customer loyalty. This includes customer communication, nurturing programs, customer advocacy initiatives, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.Write and edit marketing content including presentations, fact sheets, brochures, case studies, web pages, and thought leadership that aligns to the LGC Assure customer journey.To leverage email and marketing automation platforms to execute on campaigns that help create, nurture and convert leads with the primary goal of driving incremental revenue.Advise on customer/audience segmentation strategies to incorporate available demographic and lead information within technology platforms to optimize personalization, messaging, and relevance to increase engagement.To execute digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO, email marketing, marketing automation, social media, and online advertising, to maximize online visibility, engagement, and conversions.To oversee the effective presence at company events and 3rd party industry events, conferences, and trade shows to ensure a strong brand presence and ROI.To develop and support operational plans to support the businesses and brands within LGC Assure to execute their Go-To-Market and demand generation plans.To manage campaigns through Pardot to measure effectiveness and pipeline transparency.To report campaign performance against key metrics.To support go-to-market strategies for various products including positioning, messaging, identifying the key audiences against given targets.To support and execute automated lead-nurturing programmes that increase engagement, conversion rates, and sales.Share reporting and insights from email marketing test results with the broader marketing team to improve creative, copy or segmentation across all marketing channels.Attend industry relevant seminars, shows and events to increase knowledge of market.QualificationsThe job holder will be able to demonstrate the following skills and relevant experience:Degree educated or relevant comparable experience.Minimum of 1-2 years’ marketing experience, experience in a global or regional role preferred.A track record of success in executing marketing plans in complex multi-channel sectors.Good knowledge and experience in operating and managing CRM systems.Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization.Excellent verbal & written communication skills.Experience of briefing agencies and internal resources.Computer literate with ability to use design and video editing packages and CRM / Pardot.Additional InformationThe Marketing Executive will be able to demonstrate the following behaviours in line with LGC’s Core Values:Passion: Pride in our achievements engenders passion for our work and it translates into our ambition to make the world a safer place.Curiosity: We constantly look forward to what's next: our curiosity for today's discoveries makes tomorrow's innovations possible.Integrity: A commitment to high ethical standards has been at the heart of LGC since we started testing the integrity of products in 1842.Brilliance: We strive to be the very best in everything we say and do.
