The Product Marketing Manager is the voice of the customer into the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams and is comfortable and curious with partnering with sales engineers and product managers to enable sales teams in the messaging and positioning of our Accounting & Job Costing products.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of accounting and job costing marketing content and customer research tools, techniques and reporting with our seismic sales enablement tool.Lead new product launches in the go-to-market process, coordinate new feature introduction communications and messaging for customer awareness to drive user growth for Viewpoint Vista, Viewpoint Spectrum and ProContractor.Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.Plan annual strategic customer event to obtain market voice of customer and roadmap feedback for Product management team.Gather competitive data to aid better product positioning and create sales battlecards.Engage in the creative process for marketing collateral, presentations, website content, videos and client case studies.Coordinate with leaders across the business in a collaborative manner and comfortable juggling many priorities and can establish priorities for other stakeholders and can coordinate with international product management and sales teams on aligned strategies.Qualifications
Self-starter, tech-savvy, comfortable with leadership in a collaborative settingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsUndergraduate Marketing or Business degree preferredCapable of developing seller facing enablement and marketing content, messaging and copywritingStrong research and analytical abilities of the competitionAbility to clearly and effectively communicate and sell ideas and actionable solutions to internal and (sometimes) external stakeholdersComfortable in multi-tasking and managing multiple projectsStrong working knowledge of Google Office Products, Excel and PowerPoint requiredB2B Marketing related job experience is preferredEnterprise Software, accounting or construction industry experience a plusSimple video editing experience is a plusComfortable with working on creative projects with design resourcesIn a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time worked in the office based on the position and the business need.
