Position/Title:Executive Producer, Atlanta & Company #737

Details:11Alive/WXIA-TV , a TEGNA company, has an immediate opening for an Executive Producer of its live, 30-minute lifestyle show Atlanta & Company. This is a leadership opportunity to take a well-established lifestyle show to the next level by showcasing the best that metro Atlanta offers. The ideal candidate understands how to produce an engaging, audience-focused TV show that generates revenue through sponsored content and integrations. This position reports to 11Alive’s Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Define the show’s brand direction, content strategy, and production standards.

Ensure the show is highly produced with writing, editing, graphics, and talent performance.

Lead and develop the show’s host, correspondent, and producer.

Work with clients to effectively showcase their marketing objectives in segments.

Book and schedule live or taped studio segments and on-location live shots.

Source, produce, write content, create graphics, and edit videos.

Schedule and run daily production meetings and regular show review sessions.

Update the show’s editorial calendar for shoots and segments.

Publish a daily schedule of client segments, pre-tapings, and off-site tapings.

Maintain compliance with sponsored content documentation and on-air disclosures.

Coordinate with sales and account managers on log reconciliation for paid content.

Work with the production team to address on-air discrepancies and maintain high standards.

Ensure content is published on the show’s website and social media channels.

Build and maintain relationships with sales, clients, guests, and community members.

Meet regularly with sales on content, planning, special projects, and community needs.

Attend and present at weekly sales meetings.

Booth and time the show as needed.

Requirements:

5 years’ experience overseeing a lifestyle or similar genre show, including managing people.

Portfolio demonstrating strong producing, writing, and execution of a live lifestyle show.

Experience with ENPS, Edius Pro, and/or Adobe Premiere video editing.

Positive leadership style that brings people together to do their best work.

Self-starter who can deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Manage, prioritize, and track multiple projects without missing the details.

Creative thinker who thrives on finding solutions to business challenges.

Demonstrated ability to deliver, receive, and apply constructive feedback.

Comfortable working in the office and putting in non-traditional hours as needed.
