You will develop marketing programs for a portfolio of scholarly research journals, which include marketing campaigns and events. You’ll need to prioritize your workload and exhibit strong attention to detail. Wolters Kluwer is looking for someone willing to take on a breadth of marketing responsibilities, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, can handle multiple requests/tasks at one time, and can work with leadership and external partners and clients. You will report to the Associate Director of Product Marketing in this remote role.You Will:

Create strategic plans to increase growth for a portfolio of scholarly research journals.Manage promotional budgets and campaign forecasting planning to ensure expenditure use.Collaborate with publishing teams and important partners to identify target market segments and communication gaps to develop messaging for author and product communications.Analyze marketing metrics for reporting out and recommend adjustments to strengthen marketing’s impact on subscription sales, online usage, and manuscript submissions.Coordinate with central marketing and graphic designers to develop content for the following areas: Websites, email communication, events, and social media campaigns.Plan and attend medical conferences.Research competitors to help refine overall positioning and messaging for the journals in the portfolio.Other projects as assigned by marketing leadership.Travel approximately 10%.You Have:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or equivalent experience is required professional experience.Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of B2C marketing experience with knowledge of coordinating content calendars.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Familiarity with Smartsheet and Adobe DC for annotating and editing PDFs.Experience liaising between different departments and partners/clients.Interpret and report on marketing metrics.Desire to learn new concepts and work on new projects.Other Skills or Certifications:

Strong writing and verbal communication skillsExperience in copywriting and campaign coordinationBenefits:
