As a Senior User Interface Visual Designer, you will be integral to creating visually engaging, functional, and innovative designs for both in-vehicle systems and mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of how to balance aesthetics with functionality, adhering to our brand's mission and enhancing the user's interaction with our products.Translate the SCOUT brand promise and strategy into world-class visual designs for in-vehicle and mobile app interfaces.Develop layouts and visual elements that reinforce the SCOUT brand voice through various digital touchpoints.Integrate iconography, typography, color, shapes, and textures to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.Collaborate with design teams to evolve and apply a cohesive visual language across multiple product surfaces.Manage production assets and maintain a streamlined design system and production pipeline to ensure consistency and compatibility across devices.Develop mood boards, color studies, and conceptual graphics using industry-standard 2D and 3D design software.Work closely with developers to ensure design specifications are implemented correctly throughout the development process.Handle multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines effectively while meeting deadlines and communicating progress.What you’ll bring

Here's what else you'll bring:Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or a related field.Eight or more years of professional experience as a user interface visual designer, with a significant emphasis on automotive applications.Demonstrated experience in designing visual interfaces that are production-ready, specifically for automotive systems such as instrument clusters, head units, and other in-vehicle controls.A portfolio that highlights exceptional skills in automotive user interface visual design, including proficiency in motion graphics and dynamic interactions.Extensive knowledge of and experience with industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite, with a focus on creating detailed, high-quality visual assets for production.Proven track record of successfully implementing design projects from concept through to production, ensuring adherence to technical and industry-specific standards.Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen interest in user interface design and emerging technologies.Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying design concepts and justifying decisions.Availability to travel up to 10% of the time for collaboration, research, and project implementation.What you'll gain

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
