The Role
Arta is seeking an experienced Product / UX Designer to join our talented Bay Area HQ. You’ll play a key role in developing new experiences in consumer finance for an emergent investing class. You’ll join Arta’s small but seasoned in-house design team crafting our ever simpler, more beautiful, and intuitive web and mobile experiences. You’ll collaborate directly with local Product Management, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Member Success teams to build the future of the digital family office.
What You Will DoDesign user journeys that simplify financially and technically complex requirements into clean, usable, interfacesDesign and deliver end-to-end features of large, and often ambiguous, scopeCraft new experiences or layouts that evolve Arta’s existing visual and interaction patternsFoster collaborative, high-trust working relationships with Product Managers, Engineering, and Financial Researchers both collocated and remoteDrive cross-functional alignment on requirements or constraints that impact end-user experienceSolicit and incorporate feedback from users and broader team of colleagues to sustain and raise Arta’s high bar of product excellenceContribute to development of internal/external communications around key features alongside Marketing, Compliance, and Member Success TeamsWho You AreYou have 3+ years of experience designing both web and mobile products and can bring best-practices of both platform and form-factor to your craftYou have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experienceYou are proficient in Figma, HTML, Photoshop, Adobe, etc.You can work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross-functional peers (product managers, marketing, etc) located in the US and SingaporeYou are driven by product and user-based principles with an ability to make design decisions even when faced with a lack of data or researchYou are willing to work from our Mountain View office at least 3 times per week for in-person collaborationWhat We OfferRobust health insurance offering for you and your familyHigh deductible health plan available with health savings account contributionComplimentary One Medical membership for individuals and dependents20 weeks of parental leave15 days PTO annually plus national and company holidaysArta's Compensation Philosophy
We determine your level based on factors including your interview performance, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our offers are based on salary bands that are updated periodically using market benchmarks and consider geographic location as well (for example, higher cost regions like San Francisco or New York). If you are presented with an offer, we will review the base salary, benefits, number of options, notional option value and strike price. We would like to know if you accept our offer within 7 days.
Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
