Graphic Designer

based in our Beachwood, OH or Grand Rapids, MI offices. A remote opportunity may be available for those who are not in commuting proximity to a MarshBerry office. The Graphic Designer will be part of the Experience and Engagement team, creating visual assets for internal communication purposes including presentations, newsletters, and social media. We are seeking a team player, who will bring creative ideations to the table and share in our passion for continuous improvement.The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing graphics for team-level communications and internal marketing efforts, including social media content, visual display graphics, website graphics, invitations, and presentations. The successful candidate will bring their energy and passion for design to a fast-paced team that strives to support each other. This new team member will learn and embrace the brand and have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. They will be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of design software, be self-motivated, and apply user experience and audience design principles.Responsibilities:Produce a wide range of on-brand marketing collateral for internal communication purposes for diverse platforms, such as Intranet Site, Website, Email, and social media.Communicate and collaborate with team members to tell clear and compelling stories.Connect message and image to create clear, consistent, and on-brand communication assets to spread internal communication messages.Create and enhance presentation materials for customer engagements.Manage and improve presentation resources for internal sales enablement materials.Manage creative assets for corporate marketing library (brand and image library), follow file-naming system, and archive files according to specification to socialize brand assets to the larger company.Manage and update sell sheets, sales enablement materials, and internal human resources deliverables.Present and communicate ideas (arrangement, size, typography, style, photography, etc.) and the rationale behind design decisions to internal stakeholders.Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet brand standards and expectations, express ideas accurately, and show knowledge of design fundamentals and principles.Understand creative brief and follow design processes to produce high-quality and high-impact elements with timely outcomes.Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a CMS.Promote uniformity and consistency of our brand and assist in the development of brand and graphic standards.Work independently and cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines and manage workload to hit deadlines.Other duties as assigned.Selection CriteriaEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Communication Art, Digital Design, Marketing Design, or related field.2-4 years of professional design and public relations, marketing, communications experience including experience developing PPT presentations.A portfolio demonstrating a variety of visual and print design projects from concept to completion.Experience in creating presentations for Keynote Speakers.Strong understanding of design principles; hierarchy, layout, white space, typography, and color theory.Has a working knowledge of file setup for digital and print production needs.Proficiency in Microsoft PPT, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge.Knowledge and ability to follow best practices when creating digital assets; designing for mobile first and on social media.Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present recommendations and information clearly across divisions and leadership.Demonstrated collaborative skills with a passion for working in a team environment.Ability to receive and implement feedback in a professional manner.Strong work ethic and personal accountability.Working at MarshBerryWho We Are:MarshBerry practices The Collaborative Way which encourages employees to adhere to these five principles: listening generously, speaking straight, being for each other, acknowledgment & appreciation, and honoring commitments.
