Summary

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager for our new Cosm state-of-the-art venue opening in Grandscape, Texas. This person, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, Venues, will be responsible for multiple tasks that are essential to the success of Cosm’s marketing efforts, including assisting in the creation and development of marketing content, implementation of marketing promotions, and management of venue marketing channels (social, email, venue, etc.) for Cosm Dallas.

Responsibilities

Execute marketing and promotional campaigns for Cosm Dallas in tandem with the Director of Marketing, Venues.Partner with Cosm’s creative teams to develop content for owned and earned channels, such as social media, email, owned web properties, and in venue inventory.Coordinate with broader Cosm Marketing Team to successfully execute marketing campaigns inclusive of, but not limited to, advertising, communications, and content creation.Develop and execute a localized communications strategy for Cosm paid, earned, and owned media in conjunction with Cosm Communications Team.Create impactful promotions for Cosm events using multiple regional media partners.Compile and share extensive audience demographic information to shape development of marketing plans.Identify and activate new strategic marketing partners to enhance artist and venue exposure in the community.Coordinate grassroots marketing efforts with local market contacts.Hire and manage freelance photographers, videographers, and other creative producers as needed.Day of show event coverage as necessary.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.Minimum of 4-6 years experience in content or event marketing within a performing arts, arts, entertainment, sports, attractions or public assembly facility setting.Minimum of 4-6 years experience working with video and content producers to create compelling marketing content.1-2 years experience working with artistic teams in art, music, and/or multimedia.Minimum of 2+ years experience supervising direct reports.Experience with video and photo editing software.Experience partnering with a Comms team or managing local media relationships.Deep interest in marketing a wide variety of genres and emerging artists.Ability to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours based on the needs of daily business operations.Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure team setting.Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Cosm is an equal opportunity employer.
