This is a full-time position at 1st Degree, a Moore company. The 1st Degree Division designs and implements communication campaigns that support client brand awareness and fundraising goals and create closer relationships with their constituents — employees, donors, voters, legislative representatives, members and business partners.WE MAKE THE COMPLEX SIMPLE.

We are an innovation-led company that is the largest marketing, data and fundraising company in North America serving the purpose-driven industry with clients across education, association, political and commercial sectors.SummaryThe Marketing Account Manager will use creative and organizational skills to bring to life a wide array of fundraising and awareness programs for our clients which include nonprofits, government, and commercial clients. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, planning, and implementing integrated marketing campaigns which can include advertising campaigns, digital activations, special events, and experiential marketing. The Marketing Account Manager will work with a team of in-house and contract staff to ensure that client work is completed on time and within budget. A successful Marketing Account Manager will be creative and possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills, as well as good client interface abilities.Primary ResponsibilitiesWorks with the sales team and leadership to research, create strategy for and implement integrated marketing campaigns for multiple client campaigns and maps out tasks needed to implement those strategies.Ensures clients and management are satisfied with proposed marketing campaigns.Coordinates client meetings and collaborates with copywriters, graphic designers, digital vendors, and others to create integrated marketing content.Conceptualizes, creates, and manages a content calendar and scheduling deadlines.Determines marketing campaign budgets and ensures that all staff adhere to them.Maintains an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, vendors, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.Communicates effectively with excellent writing skills across multiple writing styles, including emails, proposals, statements of work, document editing and briefs.Provides ongoing status updates to sales team, company leadership and client as well as campaign results.Develops and maintains strong working relationships with external vendors and supervises their work.QualificationsMinimum 7+ years of work experience in an agency setting, managing marketing and advertising. Experience working with a non-profit organization will be considered.Knowledge and background in full suite of marketing tactics to include digital, advertising creation and placement, creative development.Understanding of the principles of fundraising and communications for nonprofits is highly desired.Bachelor’s degree required.Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, friendly, dependable, and proactive.Must be comfortable working for an agency.Must be able to multitask, have strong attention to detail, be highly organized and able to consistently manage 5+ projects and multiple clients at a time.Must have experience working with shared project management software, Microsoft Office, Workfront, and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Calendar, Word, PPT, Excel).Working knowledge of various fundraising and marketing software packages (Blackbaud CRM, Classy, EveryAction, Gift Works), social media management tools (Sprout Social and Hootsuite), and Google Analytics highly desired.Experience creating presentation decks using Google Slides, Canva or PowerPoint required.Must be able to collaborate with team members, creative professionals, and clients.Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Regular travel may be required.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required, without the need for sponsorship.Why Join MooreAt Moore, we are committed to creating a fair workplace where people’s unique skills and experiences are embraced and celebrated.
