Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Content Marketing Representative develops and executes content and media marketing plans for assigned marketing channels. This role creates compelling content in multiple formats to drive higher customer and prospect engagement resulting in more qualified leads and higher customer satisfaction. This includes ensuring optimized messages across all platforms including campaigns, websites, education, media and events to drive qualified leads and exceptional customer experiences aligned with business strategy and sales objectives.This position has a virtual-first hybrid work arrangement with a preferred location in Houston, TX with a minimum of two days a week in the office or co-located with other team members.Creates content plans, calendars and budgets designed to optimize lead and customer engagement for all brands, as well as identifies ways to re-purpose contentCreates and distributes engaging and relevant content across various media channels, such as blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, webinars, and moreAcquires, creates and manages digital assets including but not limited to videography, photography, and design assetsProduces and maintains marketing literature, presentations and sales enablement resourcesActs as business unit subject matter expert in content strategy, development, management and deploymentResponsible for ensuring brand value proposition and key messages are appropriately communicated through all mediumsGuides third-party content creators and copywriters to ensure messages are consistent and meet content strategy objectivesWorks closely with peer marketing functions to develop and execute strategies that optimize marketing performance outcomesDevelops content and media assets for demand generation campaigns and serves sales teams with sales toolsDetermines appropriate content mix, media and distribution channelsDeeply understands customer personas and buying journeys to optimize contentEnsures best practices for content optimization are implemented and executedRegularly monitors and reports progress of content performanceSupports customer education efforts, including but not limited to topic identification and course creationSupports ongoing customer and internal communication effortsTracks project status in Asana project management toolActs as a partner to Corporate Marketing by advising as needed on Shelter Solutions branding, advertising, media, collateral, events, literature, and digital marketingOther duties and projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field2-5 years of experience in a marketing, content development or communications roleOutstanding copywriting and creative writing skillsStrong understanding of demand generation best practicesProven ability to translate features and benefits into compelling marketing copyExposure to paid search campaigns and search engine optimizationDemonstrates project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentExhibits the ability to switch from the creative side of marketing to analytical side; able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically soundAbility to work well and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organizationAdditional InformationSite Address: 13105 Northwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77040Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we
