Aortic stenosis impacts millions of people globally, yet it often remains under-diagnosed and under-treated. Edwards’ groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) pioneered an innovative, life-changing solution for patients by offering heart valve replacement without the need for open heart surgery. How you will make an impact:Identify critical areas of patient pathway drop-off stages, barriers, and triggers for the target audience via market research and insights via diagnosing physicians.Execute comprehensive disease awareness B2C strategy and programs with well-conceived objectives, target segmentation, and marketing tactics (materials, events, competitive monitoring), with accountability for successfully completing all project deliverables programs and initiatives.Develop marketing messages based on the disease awareness marketing strategy understanding and insights of current literature, existing and new market research (e.g., patient personas, message testing), current competitive environment, and regulatory/legal requirements.Develop campaign materials and programs that support Disease Awareness goals, programs, and initiatives for B2C audiences.Analyze campaign performance to assess the Disease Awareness campaign's regional impact and optimize the performance of all assets and media channels.Lead the execution of a comprehensive media plan (e.g., digital display, search, social, television, and other channels) Provide technical knowledge on media strategy and planning utilizing digital acumen.Play a significant role in creating communications plans and goals; ensure tactical programs that track toward them are carried out.Drive marketing collateral through all relevant legal, regulatory, and brand approval processes through collaboration with relevant cross-functional stakeholders.Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and behavior changes of the target audience through KPIs and market research with solid analytics.Establish the methodology for market development programs to evaluate ROI (business impact).Work with cross-functional teams in the development and execution of the production of marketing and product training materials.Work closely with internal teams and external agency partners in the development of the annual strategy plan, market research, brainstorming, and other strategic activities.Serve as day-to-day agency contact across workstreams; partner with cross-functional leads and groups to address program implementation quickly, thoughtfully, and effectively, ensuring quality work, timeline, and budget adherence.Serve as a central repository of account and disease state knowledge to perform quality control of all externally facing materials.Demonstrate ability to develop and provide feedback on strategic plans and communications campaigns.Develop relationships and facilitate correspondence with all audiences, including leadership, healthcare professionals, and external audiences, such as third-party organizations, media, etc.Possess a solid understanding of the current healthcare landscape and the relevant issues impacting organizations and businesses in the health space.

What you’ll need (Required):Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of consumer marketing experience with solid business acumen in disease or therapy awareness in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience.This role is onsite in our Irvine, CA Headquarters.

What else we look for (preferred):Extensive understanding of marketing concepts and principles.Possesses digital marketing experience: Understands best practices, digital media, and UX.Grasps a working understanding of media plans, media vehicles, and drivers, as well as efficiencies.Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple tasks with effective prioritization.High ability and flexibility in project management, organizing, and motivating cross-functional teams with a solid customer-oriented mindset and goal-oriented thinking. Vital analytics skills and data-driven thinking.Strong commitment to own responsibilities and extreme passion to overachieve the business & individual objectives.Excellent attention to detail, documentation, communication skills, and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiation and relationship management, with the ability to drive the achievement of objectives.Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.Understands broad market research designs, develops market research programs, and demonstrates an in-depth understanding of commercial goals behind research.Ability to forecast marketing impact for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development and changing market dynamics.Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.Ability to represent leadership on sections of projects within a specific area, working closely with cross-functional teams, marketing peers, and leaders and managing needs and messaging to upper management.
