Summary : Under general supervision, CONDUCTS marketing research and analysis and is responsible for planning, reporting, and managing execution of social media content, distilling data and learnings into actionable insights to inform social-first creative ideas. SUPPORTS strategic vision across GEICO communications, ensuring that internal and external communications are consistent to achieve business goals.Responsibilities

Extracts marketing data from primary and secondary sources.Develops social media content creation throughout the organization: DEI, Corporate Communications, Recruitment, etc.Advises on social media goals and best practices to corporate teams.Communicates findings and RECOMMENDS action plans for the creative team to help optimize creative strategy.SUPPORTS the implementation of social strategy, reinforce channel roles, RACI, tone and voice, etc. for streamlined content creation across functions.DEVELOPS and SUPPORTS content for social handles by sharing calendars and strategies with management and external agencies.MONITORS and REPORTS what external sources are saying about GEICO, competitors, and macro social trends to support content themes and learnings.ANALYZES marketing social data and COLLABORATES with other functions to develop and maintain content.DEVELOPS and PARTNERS with creative team to create social-first ideas that answer the strategic brief and inspire impactful content for Marketing.REVIEWS all creative ideas, ensuring ideas adhere to platform best practices, follow content calendar, and properly engages audiences.REVIEWS data and GENERATES relevant and timely content ideas or insights based on platform trends/updates, and audience insights gleaned from social listening and community chatter.SUMMARIZES and REPORTS findings to senior creative strategists and other management.PARTNERS with brand and agency counterparts to amplify and enhance marketing campaigns via social media.PARTNERS with research/analytics team to contextualize social performance insights.COLLABORATES with Marketing counterparts to advise on new digital partnerships and influencer programs.APPLIES personal computing skills in all of the above.EVALUATES customer needs and questions. DETERMINES relevant issues.DEVELOPS new applications and reports.RECOMMENDS courses of action based on results obtained.ADHERES to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies and operating principles.MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.Requirements:
