Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Team Lead is responsible for working with our business center’s Client Development Leader (CDL), Marketing Services Manager (MSM), and Client Service Leads (CSLs) to organize, facilitate, and manage all phases of the proposal process in response to federal solicitations and other federal marketing initiatives.

On a day-to-day basis, the Marketing Team Lead will be expected to:Supervise and provide coaching to marketing staff to ensure management tools and processes are in place, promoting collaboration with project managers and technical staff, and discussing career progression.Manage specific clients, programs or initiatives, and monitor budgets, as needed.Ensure that team’s pursuit submissions are met on schedule and that various aspects of the proposals (technical scope, staff qualification and experience, biographical data, government forms, contract terms and conditions) are properly presented.Lead marketing/proposal/interview efforts, including go/no-go discussions, development of winning strategies, and quality and compliance review.Write non-technical text, and edit and proofread marketing communications for messaging, strategy, and persuasiveness.Lead use of CRM system to include tracking and reporting of leads, opportunities, and bookings.Adhere to HDR processes for maintaining and archiving appropriate pursuit documentation.Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing activities.Identify and lead improvements in marketing processes.Coordinate and communicate marketing efforts with MSM and CDL.Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.A minimum of 5 years marketing experience preferable in an A/E/C environment.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Adobe InDesign.Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills – positive outlook and attitude.Highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a desire to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Understand professional services marketing and RFP processes.Able to collaborate across functions to drive deadlines and accountability, manage priorities and ensure objectives and expectations are met.Ability to train, develop, and mentor staff.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.Commitment to a rigorous quality control process, continuous improvement, and HDR values.

Preferred Qualifications

B.A. in Communications, English, Journalism, or B.S. in an industry-related field.Previous A/E industry experience.Federal procurement process experience.Proficiency with technical computer skills, graphics and layout and design experience, including Adobe Creative Suite.Local candidates are preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is $63,840.00 - $91,200.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
