Marketing Manager

is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns to achieve marketing goals. This role also collects data about target demographics and analyzes market trends to further our brand awareness. We pride ourselves in delivering a high level of accuracy in task completion, timely responses, and superior service. This is vital to ensure internal and external customer service, compliance with Regulations, and First Reliance Bank policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.Conducts pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market, identifies needs for new products and services, and makes recommendations to leadership.Analyzes and evaluates financial aspects of product development.Collaborates in the development of new products.Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows.Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.Complies with the FRB compliance process and manages approval for all marketing communications.Coordinates and is the FRB contact with events in every market.Collaborates with CEO and Executive Team on social media and special projects.Creates, proofreads, and edits copy for various marketing initiatives, consistent with FRB culture.Develops and manages content and social media to include management of corporate-level social media (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).Evaluates and monitors campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.Manages relationship with outsourced marketing agency to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.Assists with conducting market research and identifying trends.Coordinates Digital Messaging graphics with ad agency and schedules within channel platforms.Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in marketing.Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets.Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.Must have a high level of creativity.Occasional travel may be required.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Photoshop, or related software.
