This position will lead and manage the execution of UI / UX design for ATD’s B2B and B2C digital software products. This includes creative support for marketing campaigns and communications, partnering closely with marketing and corporate communications leadership to ensure consistency of the various brand expressions.This position will provide strong creative direction, thought leadership, and daily oversight of the digital design team across all touch points. Collaborate with business partners on all project milestones, from conception and planning, to execution and production establishing timelines and assign work in order to meet tight deadlines. Above all, you must strive to do compelling and innovative work, motivate and drive the team, and continually elevate creative while modeling and leading for a customer-first mindset.Key Responsibilities

Ensure all digital touch points and functions align with ATD’s B2B and B2C’s aesthetic and brand standards while meeting usability, accessibility, and web requirements.Partner with product and engineering leadership to lead efforts to transform our digital strategies, platforms, and experiences, as well as helping to implement more customer-centric creative strategies.Work on individually assigned design projects as well as provide support and guidance for all members of the digital creative team.Provide innovative and creative ideas that have a strong foundation in UX/UI principles, sharing imaginative alternatives and questioning traditional approaches.Work to build strong relationships with internal/external design partners across the organization and industry.Partner with marketing strategy, eCommerce and corporate leadership to concept and oversee designs of elevated content experiences across mobile and desktop.Lead ATD’s Digital Creative Team and be responsible for the optimization of the user experience for ATD. The ideal candidate will have experience in eCommerce.This position will manage the Creative Design team to both deliver high quality creative work and also develop systems, policies and protocols to support the team's key operating principles of efficiency, consistency and agility including setting business goals, prioritizing work, allocating resources (including outsourcing) and evaluating staff performance.Responsible for the management of Creative Agency vendors supporting ATD.Manage the ATD brand strategy and voice, own brand positioning, messaging, and design, champion the brand within the organization and manage all third-party vendors to meet brand standards.Develop trusted relationships across the organization to ensure collaboration to support the brand and customer experience initiatives.Manage the customer experience to support the delivery of ATD initiatives, both internal and external to the site.Establish creative intake and delivery processes and prioritize creative requests.Establish the Creative Team as the creative owners of the ATD Brand as it relates to usage across the company in marketing programs, web properties, internal communications etc.Build and document brand guidelines for governing the appearance of branded imagery, font and colors on ATD digital properties.Build and manage the Design team including selection, mentoring, coaching, team building, performance management and assessment, and rewards and recognition to build a mature, high performing team and engaged team while ensuring on time and on scope delivery of user experience deliverables.Ability to control departmental and sales related costs to within target ranges.Skills & Competencies

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience.Education:

Minimum High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university preferred.Education: BA/BS or equivalent work experience.Experience: 10+ years of work experience in corporate or agency creative / production/ resources department including with 8+ years of managerial experience of a Creative organization within a complex organization.B2B and B2C ecommerce experience.Experience with Agile design and development methods.Physical Demands
