Trimble loves UX and our teams are growing.The Architecture & Design Division at Trimble is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer.About The PositionAs the Senior UI/UX design lead, you will have ownership over user research, design, and usability testing for new and existing feature integrations for SketchUp’s premiere 3D modeling and 2D documentation products for design professionals. You will be working with a dynamic team of product managers, developers, and other UI/UX Designers within a fast-paced Agile environment to design and deliver seamless and delightful workflows for SketchUp’s customers.What You Will Be Asked To DoInform vision and strategy - Collaborate closely with Product Managers to recognize potential avenues for product improvement and growth. Develop captivating product visions that not only bring value to customers but also align with business objectives and strategies.Communicate and Collaborate - Cultivate a culture of openness and collaboration around design, encouraging Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to work together in tackling challenges. Harness a variety of viewpoints and concepts to drive the creation of more impactful solutions.Design for Scale - Create elegant experiences that solve complex problems for a myriad customers across multiple products and platforms while maintaining consistency by leveraging Trimble’s existing design system.Prototype, Test, Iterate - Be comfortable working in low fidelity and high fidelity, testing, learning, and iterating on designs. We love design sprints and hope you do too!Define and Document - Create artifacts that articulate our users’ needs, product principles, and design details necessary to bring something to life with our engineers.Mentor, Lead, Inspire - Share your design thinking and user-centered design passion with your team, your fellow designers, and the larger SketchUp and Trimble community, becoming a recognized expert in an area of specialization.Contribute and Invest - Openly participate in Trimble UX initiatives aimed at supporting our growing design community and growing our collective customer research and knowledge backlog.Your Experience Should IncludeMinimum 5 years experience in delivering products to market with a proven track record.An undergraduate or master's degree in user experience design, human-computer interaction, interaction design or the like.A rock-solid portfolio that demonstrates your skills in user experience research and design, highlighting your ability to deliver beautiful, useful, and usable products.Prior experience with, and a deep level of understanding/appreciation for contemporary UI/UX web, mobile, and desktop platform patterns.Solid experience with Figma and/or other industry-standard design tools, Jira, Miro, and GSuite to deliver design deliverables.An interest in designing for professional designers and highly technical applications, where exact measurements, workflow efficiencies, and designing for rough field conditions can be of great importance.You might also have…Experience using SketchUp and/or other 3D computer modeling software is a huge plus.Pay EquityTrimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
