we are looking for an individual that thinks outside the establishment, loves hardware, & thinks if we just had a device that did this. You will lead the silicon strategy for Windows Commercial devices, collaborate with device, silicon and channel partners to curate device collections that meet our customers’ needs and budget. You will also design the strategy and plan for launching new commercial devices, assess the market opportunities and competition, and define the device roadmap and portfolio. You will drive innovation and growth and increase customer satisfaction while also driving Windows share and revenue.In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to align our Windows product strategy with their silicon and device roadmaps while also guiding our top resale partners on our product strategy. You will build and maintain excellent relationships with our device manufacturers, silicon partners and channel partners. You will communicate key product disclosures and integrated “better together” messaging to drive device sales and revenue for the Windows business. You should have a keen interest in the Windows device business and a data-driven mindset. You should be able to evaluate a wide portfolio of products objectively and measure their business impact. You should also be able to support or challenge existing assumptions with solid research.We are a small agile team with significant impact. Help prioritize the impact of the commercial device business over a multi-year roadmap, leveraging our silicon strategy to outline our device strategy.Define the desired portfolio of devices within the commercial business.Partner to outline key silicon and hardware requirements that light up AI features.Define & lead research studies to identify customer needs, demand signals, & key priorities for the commercial business.Identify key product features & value that will drive customer demand and work with our partners to align on a “Better Together” story.Determine the key performance indicators & principles we should be using for device performance in hero marketing activities.Perform competitive assessments & analyze what is needed to win the category & create competitive boundaries.Communicate our global device and silicon strategy to Executives, Stakeholders, and partners.Partner with our internal stakeholder to disclose our silicon, device, and channel strategy to enable them to execute against their business priorities.Represent Microsoft as a product spokesperson at partner meetings and industry events.Qualifications

Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in businessOR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing products or marketing campaigns specifically with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or silicon partners.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in businessOR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experience.5+ years of experience managing products or Go to Market (GTM) strategy campaigns, with preference experience working in working with devices and/or silicon partners.5+ years experience in the commercial segments or industry verticals.3+ years experience working as product planner / portfolio curator.Clear and persuasive oral and written presentation skills for communicating compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners.Experience collaborating with partners and providing great leadership and interaction with Microsoft.Ability to quickly assess an opportunity´s potential, leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience.Sensitivity to diverse stakeholder perspectives and the ability to facilitate internal alignment.Experience with Windows is a plus.Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 - $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 - $176,900 per year.
