Design Manager Services/Mechanical Handling.
They're working at the forefront of the defence technology industry, and this role will see you playing a key role on a complex tactical communications system to enhance the required defence capabilities and critical assets.You will be supporting the delivery of services and mechanical handling equipment within the Dock Facility in Devonport. You will be involved in mechanical handling equipment, including gantry cranes, pedestal cranes, and other tools for moving smaller loads around the facility.Skills RequiredExperience of managing design production.Design of cranes through the design process with experience of requirements substantiation thereof.Knowledge of lifting techniques, processes, etc., within a facility-based production environment.Mechanical handling equipment consists of a gantry/goliath crane and fixed pedestal cranes.Experience of working on a nuclear licensed site.Please reply to this job post if you are currently looking to work with an International Defence company; then this is the role for you.
