Marketing Manager

to support our continued growth in the Chemical Energy Market. This position is located in our Houston, TX office and is eligible for hybrid work.The role requires market knowledge and application experience in the O&G industry, specifically around Stimulation (Hydraulic fracturing) and Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (cEOR). The key position responsibilities include:Conceptualizing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that promote the value of Kemira O&G products and services globallyIdentifying and evaluating business opportunities that will drive profitable growth in line with Kemira strategiesActively engaging with customers, industry experts and academia to identify and define regional and global O&G market needsTranslating customer and market requirements into new opportunities or focus areas for commercial offerings / concepts / models at a regional and global levelActively participating in the development of new products from concept to commercialization. Working closely with Commercial, Business Development, R&D and Application TeamsManaging marketing materials and activities including Digital and Social content, Publications, Webinars, Promotional documents and Trade showsAnalyzing and reporting on competitive activity and trends in the O&G marketMarket research including database analysis, interpretation, and reportingWhat you can expect from us:Opportunities for personal and professional growthEmployment in a stable company with an established position in the marketAttractive benefits packageA multicultural and positive working environmentWhat you’ll bring to the team:Bachelor’s degree or strong equivalent experience. MS preferredMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in a role developing marketing strategies and communication plansOil and Gas Industry experience with knowledge of Stimulation (Hydraulic fracturing) and Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (cEOR)Understanding of Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry advantageousAbility to conceptualize and communicate ideas or messages simply and conciselyAnalytical skills, ability to interpret and translate market information into actionable insights and strategies.Proven experience in identifying innovative, profitable development opportunities and implementing successful strategies to generate resultsDigital and Social Media marketing experience with the willingness to engage with new platforms and marketing approachesStrong cross-team collaboration (particularly across regions and functions)Knowledge of and experience working in Global O&G markets advantageousFluent in English, both verbal and written.
