We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Match design team.At Match, we believe there is a better way to date and to meet your match. This is an opportunity to join a lean team working to make a real impact in one of the most vital and personal aspects of people's lives.As a designer on our team, you will use full stack product design skills in collaboration with Product Managers, Analysts, and Engineers to create, validate and implement innovative solutions to the problems of singles looking to find love in the complex and ever-evolving landscape of dating.

How you'll make an impact:

Own and work independently on projects across multiple areas from idea to execution in partnership with the Design DirectorProjects for this role will include prototyping and validating new approaches to the dating app profile as well as new ways to meet beyond just liking and swipingEngage in and cultivate a culture of collaboration and design excellence, inspiring designers with your work as well as activating them through proactive inclusion in your processElevate the quality of our app design by applying your excellent design sensibilities, and an insistence on polished execution and implementationRapidly iterate in a fast-paced environment with a highly transparent working process that is inclusive of stakeholders and collaboratorsBuild alignment around design decisions through partnership with User Research and excellent storytelling / presentation skillsWe could be a match if:

You bring 2+ Years in a product, UX/UI, visual design or similar role for a consumer-facing mobile app spaceCase studies that demonstrate excellent design taste and craftsmanship as well as a range of design skills including motion designYou’re driven to create excellent work that pushes the boundaries of our design, overcoming barriers through your cross functional partnershipsYou bring a positive energy that inspires your fellow designers to pursue excellence and engage in collaborative exercisesYou’re able to tell a compelling story about your work that engages and persuades your audienceYou’re assertive and proactive about being included where you can make the most impact, acting as a thought partner in the product strategyYou leverage multiple sources of input including data from analytics and research as well as your own design expertise to form strong recommendationsComfort with ambiguity and adaptable to pivots in a fast paced environmentA high level of proficiency in Figma including auto-layout, working with component libraries and prototypingBonus Points for any of the following: Workshop facilitation, motion design, accessibility expertise, design systems expertise
