To help our customers seize this opportunity, we are looking for an experienced and technical product marketing leader to join the AWS for Data product marketing team.Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS's most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.The AWS for Data product marketing team is tasked with helping customers understand the value of building a data strategy on AWS spanning databases, analytics, machine learning, and AI. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to create and activate compelling and differentiated messaging to help technology decision makers understand the unique value propositions of modernizing their data strategy on AWS. You will have the acumen to dive deep into the technical details of current and new products in order to crisply communicate differentiators across AWS's portfolio of data services. You will leverage moments and product launches to land these differentiators as well as develop educational content (white papers, blogs, demos, etc.), lead event presence at specific events, and create new ways to reach our target audience.This position is to be in Seattle WA. Relocation offered from within the US only to this location.Key job responsibilities

Identify and execute on breakthrough product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, demos, presentations, how to guides, etc.).Develop market and competitive intelligence expertise that can inform messaging.Build and maintain strong relationships with product management, GTM, partner, and program teams to drive co-marketing and distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.Elevate internal thought leaders through perception-driving tactics.Basic Qualifications

5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels.Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content.Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership to drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs.A bias for action for developing marketing assets.Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.Experience targeting the decision maker persona.Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling marketing content.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
