Job Description:

Provide professional graphic design, delivering services in creating inventive, original artwork and imaginative concepts for composite imagery used in high volume printing, large format printing, and digital display.Create and deliver products (designs) that incorporate a variety of visually aesthetic styles and inventive techniques including creative typography to produce imaginative visual representations of ideas and messages that are legible, professional, and effective in communicating specific ideas.Provide graphic design services to include but are not limited to: creation of original artwork, design and layout support; text processing; page mark-up; graphic scanning, MDA forms development; large and small format printing; sign making; mounting and laminating; and any other creative design support.Provide services utilizing the Adobe CC Master Collection graphic design software package and Microsoft Office on a Windows platform. Responsible for designing products for high volume printing, large format printing, and digital display.Provide coordination for print requests to identify requirements, scheduling, quality control checking, and efficient production steps.Utilize digital color press printing methodology, file preparation, efficient use of dedicated front-end raster image processors (RIPs), job cueing, PDF file format efficiencies and document finishing (automatic punching, binding, folding, etc.) to produce executive-level products.Should have a strong work ethic, demonstrate initiative appropriate to the assignment with exceptional project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Other related duties as assigned.Day-to-day work will require and include:

Provide graphic illustration support on visual products such as briefings, electronic messaging, informational collateral and technical documentation for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).Utilize commercial software to develop computer-generated graphics, charts, and tables.Provide graphic support for ceremonies and large events.Optimize the quality and usability of documentations/presentations using graphics and other formatting/style enhancements.Verifying accuracy of technical documentation to ensure that it is complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, content format, and style format.Hands-on production requirements will consist of setting up and operating a variety of production equipment including large format plotters, printers, copiers, bindery equipment and more.Strong work ethic, demonstrate initiative appropriate to the assignment with exceptional project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Education Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in graphic arts discipline.Experience Requirements:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).3+ years of professional experience.Experience with graphics creation.Ability to multi-task with exceptional organizational skills.The capability to be self-directed, efficient, and dependable.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent proofreader and careful attention to detail.Experience supporting DoD programs (desirable but not required).Clearance Level Requirement:
