As Drafting Lead, you will take primary responsibility for completion of project drafting (mechanical with some electrical) as defined in project document deliverable lists, supporting engineering functions from preliminary design to completion of As-Built packages. Ovivo is dedicated to innovation in an industry that is in constant evolution and offers water treatment solutions that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable.Lead and direct process improvements or changes to all systems related to drafting documentation.Lead performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and development activities to all drafting team members.Coordinate and interact with the engineering representatives in the execution of the drawing packages.At project kickoff, recognize project budget and schedule and prepare a drafting execution plan to meet established budgets and schedule.Participate/lead a cross-functional team in developing drafting standards - naming conventions, application of ISA Symbols and constructs, labeling and dimensioning, tagging convention, etc.Complete drafting hour estimates for establishing Custom and Standard Product drafting hours estimates.Does this sound like you?Technical school certification in drafting and/or equivalent drafting experience.10+ years of progressive drafting experience with at least 5 years expertise in water and wastewater equipment is preferred.3D CAD modeling of equipment, parts, piping, components.
