Through more than 180 distribution partners across the globe, a growing number of strategically positioned sales offices and warehouses, and customer-centric operations, Arlon is recognized as a global leader in graphic films and certified as a Great Place to Work company.Position OverviewAs a part of Arlon’s global creative team, the Marketing Specialist, Visual Design will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that are intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent to support strategic marketing efforts in the print, digital, and interactive channels at Arlon. The Marketing Specialist, Visual Design will combine both graphic design and marketing skills, to translate marketing objectives into compelling visual content.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Strategy Development:Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and key messaging.Generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end that align with overall marketing goals.Stay connected with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Arlon’s creative output is cutting-edge and competitive.Work collaboratively across departments to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience while communicating the message in an engaging and creative way.Visual Design:Responsible for the conceptual development, direction, and production of visually appealing and effective designs for various marketing channels, including digital and print.Create and edit graphics, images, and multimedia content for use in marketing materials such as social media posts, email campaigns, landing pages, and printed collateral.Ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality.Refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.Cross-functional Collaboration:Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between creative teams and other departments.Liaise with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of creative projects.Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to align creative efforts with overarching business strategies.Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and seek feedback to refine creative work.RequirementsMinimum Required Education, Experience and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or another relevant field.Two (2) years relevant recent work experience in a designer capacity.Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant software.A solid foundation in typography, layout and design.Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to translate them into effective visual content.Excellent communication skills in the English language (verbal, written, presentation, inter-personal).Positive outlook, professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic, that includes attendance, organization, accuracy, attention to detail, good judgement, and discretion.Is personally guided by, espouses, communicates, and works with, and through, values of integrity, excellence, inspirational, teamwork and accountability (Arlon’s core values). Demonstrates strong commitment to organizational goals and acts in the best interest of the company.Willingness, ability and availability to travel as per business needs; must have valid travel documentation.Additional Considerations:Bi-literate in any language relevant to Arlon’s global operations.Video editing and motion design skills.Pay Transparency:The current pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour - $31.00 per hour. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will.
