Your future starts now.The Marketing Communications Manager, Public Relations is responsible for assisting with and executing the public relations strategy for Empower. The person in this role will help effectively position the brand as a leader in the industry while supporting business objectives through the creation of content. Responsibilities also include developing and executing content to educate and engage consumers.What you will do:

Collaborate with the thought leadership, marketing research, design, and web development teams, among others, to take specific content projects from ideation to publicationContribute to a program that generates a high volume of short-form, high-impact content to publish on Empower's digital channels and in the mediaServe as the writer and/or creator for various forms of content, as appropriate, including articles, feature stories, white papers, e-books, research briefs, listicles, infographics, videos, and podcastsEnsure assigned content projects hit editorial calendar timelines, as well as project milestones, while staying within budget and meeting delivery datesTake a comprehensive and strategic approach to storytelling, including tying together big ideas/concepts in a way that engages audiences and authentically leads individuals down the sales funnelSeek and receive feedback from various stakeholders throughout the business, appropriately enhancing content through restructuring and editingDevelop and execute native content and PR campaignsConduct regular internal content audits to uncover new content avenues to pursue, as well as continually exploring the newest industry trends, technology, tools, industry insights, and platformsWork with analysts and other teams to monitor content success metrics, measuring effectiveness across a variety of analytics tools, creating reports, and continually helping the team refine and optimize content strategiesWhat you will bring:

Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of content marketing, writing, PR, or related experienceFinancial services industry and retirement plan expertise preferred, but not requiredExcellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skillsStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsWhat will set you apart:

$84,000.00 - $118,575.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Equal opportunity employer.
