Job Summary

A Marketing Specialist II should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Projects may include various regular duties such as lead retrieval and database management, to project-specific deadline driven assignments such as web content development and management (Internet, Microsite, Extranet and Intranet), eblast campaigns, online and offline advertising campaigns, sales support and corporate literature, SEO program, public relations, social networking campaigns and tradeshows or events (customer or employee).Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.).Assists and lead with the development and management of projects as assigned by Director of Global Marketing.Liaise with external vendors and departments to execute promotional events and campaigns.Analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 2 years experience in the current field of work.Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role.Exceptional communication and writing skills.Advanced knowledge and experience with PowerPoint & Excel.Advanced knowledge and experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Flash, SurveyMonkey (or equivalent shareware).MailChimp/iContact/etc for eblast distribution.Demonstrated ability to code basic HTML, CSS, Flash.Strong experience in emerging Web 2.0 social network marketing tools and techniques (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts).Works with outside vendors as needed on projects that require capabilities not available in-house.Writing for blogs, web pages, eblasts, press releases, articles and other materials as needed.Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability to meet deadline driven schedule.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often ambiguous/fast-changing environment.Passion to study and remain up-to-date on all the latest ethical techniques.Team-oriented individual with proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.Energetic, enthusiastic and organized.Education & Experience Requirements

BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent.
