Interacts with the business to gather stakeholder requirements and understands the needs of members. Ensures that the integrity of the brand is present in all facets of the online experience, designing websites, emails, mobile applications and any external media. Reviews work and deliverables created by User Experience I to ensure they use visual design, typography, layout, and color theory to create visually appealing designs while adhering to business requirements, design standards and usability best practices.User Experience Designer - IIILeads the development and creation of the user experience for digital platforms by developing and executing studies while working effectively within technical, creative, and budgetary constraints. Creates and facilitates workshops and other research methods to understand user needs and translate them into project requirements. Leads and guides other UX team members through the utilization of processes and designs that adhere to brand and usability standards. Reviews and analyzes feedback and data from research sessions, literature reviews and incorporates these findings into their decision process to make strategic decisions that align to corporate goals.ResponsibilitiesUser Experience Designer - IICreate and review deliverables including sketches, wireframes and prototypes for projects while following all design and UX standards.Creates, develops and executes or oversees quality art and design layout solutions for complex on-line content, such as web sites, email marketing, promotions, page layouts and other creative assets, from a combination of user experience research, artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, etc.) and functional specifications provided by Business Analysts.Participates in brainstorming, usability testing and other UX activities to help deliver the experience and design of projects to meet stakeholder and customer needs.Participates in Agile ceremonies, reviews member analytics and understands current business requirements to factor into deliverables.User Experience Designer - IIIDevelops, conducts, analyzes and presents findings from a variety of design and usability research initiatives on current applications and for future initiatives.Develops and maintains usability and/or design standards based on research outcomes and industry best practices.Prioritizes work and methods of research for all agile projects assigned to them and also other team members by working closely with stakeholders and team members.Create deliverables including sketches, wireframes and prototypes for projects while following all design and UX standards.Reviews deliverables, sites and apps to ensure they are meeting design and usability standards.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsUser Experience Designer - IIEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.3 years of User Experience or UI development experience.Technical Skills and Knowledge:Basic understanding of design principles and best practices for usability.Familiarity with systems development life cycle.Familiar with Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and TFS in order to perform duties.Familiar with developing usability and design sessions.Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript.User Experience Designer - IIIEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.5 years of User Experience or UI development experience.1 year mentoring or managing other team members.Technical Skills and Knowledge:Familiarity with systems development life cycle.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript.Ability to conduct research techniques such as usability testing, card sorting and contextual inquiry.Possesses critical and creative thinking skills.Basic understanding of design principles and best practices for usability.Strong presentation, facilitation and analytical skills.Advanced understanding of User Centered Design process and experience.Understanding of web, mobile and responsive applications.Medical Mutual is looking to grow our team!
