Position Summary:As a Senior Artist within the Brand and Marketing department at Gamefam, you will play a pivotal role in crafting visually compelling Key Artwork Assets that resonate with our diverse gaming community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute imagery to elevate our brand presence and drive engagement across multiple platforms. You will ensure that the visual identity of our games is cohesive and engaging across a variety of digital platforms, from social media to in-game branding, and any other emerging platforms. Your work will help define how players and audiences perceive and interact with our brand. Being able to work in multiple art styles, 3d scene assembly, lighting / rendering, compositing / post processing and an expert knowledge of dynamic image composition are essential to this role.Key Responsibilities:Create high-quality visual assets for marketing campaigns, including but not limited to key art, social media graphics, icons, thumbnails, promotional animation, pitch images, and other branding elements for new and existing game titles / platforms.Collaborate with the marketing and game development teams to conceptualize and execute creative strategies that align with our brand vision and goals.Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency and cohesion across all visual communications.Present work for review to collaborators (Art Director, cross-functional teams, and external partners), implementing feedback in a timely manner for final approvalsMentor junior artists and provide constructive feedback to elevate the overall quality of the team’s work.Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, while maintaining high standards of quality.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate our visual marketing efforts.Prepare final files in a detailed and organized manner, for efficient file delivery and archiving to our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.Qualifications:A strong portfolio of work showcasing a range of creative marketing assets and a keen eye for detail that demonstrates compelling key artwork across genres of games and/or Marketing campaigns.Bachelor of Fine Arts in media art, graphic design, or equivalent experience.A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a digital artist, with experience working on creative visual content for well-known brands.Advanced to expert level proficiency in DCC 3d and 2d applications such as 3dsMax, Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Blender (preferred), with render engines such as V-Ray, Redshift, or Unreal. Along with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other relevant design and compositing tools.Experience with some and/or all of the following, Jira, Asana, Trello, Confluence.Excellent understanding of visual design principles, image composition, and color theory.Ability to create 3d assets / scenes and previsualize layouts.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated and receptive to feedback, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and articulate concepts.Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture and trends.Pluses:Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar.Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.Experience with Roblox Studios and/or Fortnite Creative.Experience with community-driven content creation or familiarity with UGC (User-Generated Content) platforms.Ability to create concept artwork.Highlights of Perks and Benefits:Remote FlexibilityUnlimited PTOCompany wide shutdown between Christmas and New YearsComprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, disability & life insurance401KWFH StipendMore surprises when you join!The base pay for this position is $75,000-$105,000.
