At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOMonitor the labor cost of the shift, paying close attention to overtimeAccurate accounting close-out of special eventsChecking accuracy of labor system at the end of the shiftConduct operations with a Guest First mindsetEnsure all recap forms are submitted to accountingEnsure that leads are set up for successRespond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities including access as well as our VIP program and seat upgradesWork through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situationsFollow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are metPerform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policyInform guests of Music Hall amenities & make recommendationsMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encounteredSuggestive selling of all venue products and services when applicableKeep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team membersCreate pre-shift sheet and relay information from management directly to staffMeet with tour security before each showConduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational mannerLog operational issues in Manager Log Book, either manually or onlineConduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk-through – interior and exterior of buildingCheck ticket counts with box office before shift beginsCheck email and mailbox for current informationUpdate Contact Log at the end of the shiftFamiliarize self with event sheetsFacilitate proper inter-departmental communication and organizationWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired:(State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work late hoursFlexible schedule3 years supervisory experience in high volume hospitality/music hall environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and ABIMM timekeeping systemKnowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulationsAbility to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsSkilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff managementAbility to motivate staff, problem solve, lead, delegate, follow up, deal with volatile situations with tact and confidencePreferred:At least 2 years experience with a live entertainment venueExperience in a live music environmentCollege diploma in related fieldPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
