Associate Director, Rheumatology Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Marketing to join us in our

Marketing team

based in Atlanta, GA or Raleigh-Durham, NC

About the role

TheAssociate Director, Marketingis responsible for building and executing patient marketing content and communication plans aligned to strategy to build awareness, consideration and request for rheumatology brands across the Immunology portfolio. This marketer will support DTC campaign and media strategy, development, execution and measurement for integrated media plans and campaigns.

Who you'll work withThis individual will lead UCB's rheumatology direct-to-consumer and media strategy which involves close coordination with internal stakeholders and external agencies/ vendors.

What you'll doLead development of marketing strategy including patient insight, value proposition, creative campaigns, integrated communication plans and measurement for DTC initiativesServe as lead/main point of contact for multiple agencies including creative and mediaEffectively execute core campaign materials for traditional and emerging channelsEffectively lead projects through Review Committee (RC) process to achieve superior results that drive the businessManage scope of work development and annual opex budget in excess of $100MConsistently deliver on project requirements and strives for flawless executionOperate at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standardsCompliance is a part of how we operate within UCB. Minimum Qualifications:BS/BA degree required8+ years experience in pharmaceutical marketing in the USExperience developing patient targeted strategies/campaignsDemonstrated success in project and vendor/agency management and budget managementPrior experience working with key internal stakeholders, such as marketing and sales teams, legal, market access, privacy, and compliancePrior experience working with agency of records to deliver tactical plans on strategy, on time and on budgetSolid speaking, writing, and budgeting skills. Ability to present to groups of all sizes, sometimes on short noticeAbility to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:MBA preferredPrevious experience in Specialty or Immunology therapy areasCreative and/or media agency experience

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $142,000-186,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
