You'll use your knowledge of art and technology to develop tools and pipelines that streamline the art creation process and enable our artists to create stunning visuals in a timely and efficient manner.Responsibilities:Work closely with the art and programming teams to develop tools and pipelines that improve the art creation processDevelop shaders and materials that achieve the desired look and feel for our games and applicationsImplement and optimize art assets within the engine, ensuring optimal performance across a variety of platforms and devicesTroubleshoot and solve technical issues related to art and animationCollaborate with the development team to ensure that art assets are delivered on time and to the highest standards of qualityContinuously evaluate and improve our art production processes and workflowsStay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in art and technology, and apply them to our games and productsRequirements:3+ years of experience as a technical artist or related roleStrong understanding of art fundamentals, including composition, color theory, and lightingProficiency in C#Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Lua, or MELExperience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal EngineKnowledge of 3D software such as Maya or BlenderStrong communication and collaboration skillsPassion for anime, gaming, and Japanese cultureAbility to troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to art and animationAt Spellbrush, we value creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
