Senior Account Executive
to join our Technology team. This is a unique opportunity to grow as a communications professional working as part of a global agency team on a client roster that includes some of the world’s most notable technology brands.Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Serving as a key team member on multiple workstreams for a large account, managing multiple projectsDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with client contactsCreating media materials (press releases, pitch emails, reporter backgrounders, messaging points)Build and leverage media relationships to drive successful earned media outcomes for clientsContributing superb writing abilities in the creation of bylines and other long-form contentProviding clients with informed recommendations based on a true understanding of, and changes within, the media landscapeWorking closely with Hill & Knowlton team members to ensure high quality and precision on client deliverablesContributing creativity, passion, and expertise to an entrepreneurial team environment where everyone’s voice is heard, highly valued, and rewardedWhat you’ll need to get here:
Undergraduate degree3-5 years’ experience in strategic communications/public relations; agency experienceExperience working with clients in the B2B and enterprise technology sectorsEarned media expertise with the ability to develop media strategy and secure earned media coverage for clientsStrong understanding of the media landscapeEnthusiasm for working as a leader within a team, managing and upskilling junior staff while modeling corporate culture valuesExcellent client service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with client contactsSuperb writing and editing skills across a variety of platforms with a keen eye for detail and a love of the written wordPassion, integrity, and excitement for the Hill & Knowlton brandIndustry Analyst relations experience is a plusThe base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
