The ideal candidate will have a passion for graphic design, be a great project manager, and understand B2B and B2C marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful content that drives sales, enhances partnership marketing opportunities, and effectively communicates the San Diego brand value to fans and potential partners.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with sales and partnerships objectivesCreate engaging and persuasive content, including sales presentations, pitch decks, case studies, website designs, email campaigns, and other collateral materialsDesign custom visuals that represent brand product placement for partnershipsCraft compelling messaging and storytelling that effectively communicates the value proposition of SDFCDesign custom partnership multi-media sales decks that are highly story-drivenDesign infographics and design elements for marketing campaignsCreate content for email marketing and digital content campaignsDesign invites, signage, and graphics for eventsEnsure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all content channelsServe as the project manager for sales and partnerships creative requests: ensure deadlines are met, keep projects up-to-date and organized, communicate with all parties involvedIdentify, develop, and implement new and innovative marketing opportunities and strategies focused on increasing brand awarenessKeep up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies and implement into work when applicableAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Degree in Marketing, Design, or relative industry3+ years as a full-time or part-time marketing or creative professional with a strong desire to grow marketing and creative skills independently and collaborativelyUnderstanding of sports and/or brand marketing, branding, sponsorship, and client servicesAdvanced Adobe Photoshop and Apple Keynote skillsExperience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesignExperience with video editing a plusComfortable presenting to the organization and project leadershipHighly motivated self-starter, with strategic thinking and personal leadership skillsExceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects at a timeStrong problem-solving skills and executionerStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with internal sales and management teamsExcellent copywriting and proofreading skillsAbility to take constructive criticism and change direction based on feedbackGreat attitude, willingness to take on other duties that may not fall into outlined job descriptionCOMPENSATIONCompetitive salary range $60,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.WORKING CONDITIONSLocation: San Diego, CAThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
