The Asset Recovery Department is seeking a Remarketing Specialist with experience in the automotive industry who is passionate about inventory management and process improvement. As a Remarketing Specialist, you will be responsible for several functions within the existing inventory remarketing. You will support department strategies to minimize credit losses, asset management, support liquidation strategies, and work with internal and external stakeholders to maximize dollars recovered.Remarketing Specialist Responsibilities:

Approving units for sale, setting floor pricing, reviewing condition reports for potential claim filingWork with outside recovery agents to coordinate pick up and transport of vehiclesEvaluate repossessed units for necessary reconditioning prior to saleAssist collections with Issuing Orders and Vehicle RedemptionsRequest titles for all repossessed units and file skip claimsEvaluate units for legal follow upMonitor repossessed inventory and statusStorage notice follow up and completionReview repossession and remarketing invoices for accuracy and paymentProduce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting required for loan resolutions and senior leadershipProcess charge-off and partial write downs on repossessed inventoryAct as a liaison between Ironhorse and traditional auctions, wholesale platforms, dealer remarketers, and the Asset Recovery teamOther duties as assigned by management.Qualifications: Skills & Requirements

Must be computer savvy with the ability to operate at a fast pace with a sense of urgency.Must have computer skills including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work well under pressure meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlinesAbility to work in an accurate, detail-oriented, and highly productive mannerStrong verbal/written communication skillsAvailability to work overtime and weekends, as neededQualifications

Prior Remarketing Experience is a mustHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification1+ years of experience managing automotive inventory, including vehicle acquisition and disposal.At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google SuiteMust be familiar with inventory management principles and vehicle valuation guides and techniques
