Graphic Designers at West Press create a variety of pieces from simple business cards and forms, to complex annual reports, magazines and catalogs. Clients also request logo creation, photo editing, marketing collateral, and signage. Our Designers interact directly with customers and our staff.Responsibilities of a Graphic Designer:

Create designs which appeal to clients, communicate their message in their style and are effective for print productionCreate logos and designs from scratch or from existing filesInteract directly with clients in a professional manner offering suggestions to produce as well as improve their visionsOffer ideas for cost-effective design solutionsManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project requirementsMaintain organized files and project documentationCollaborate with the West Press marketing team to produce print and social media materialsStay on top of industry trends and software updatesWilling to stay late or come in early to meet client needs as neededAssist in other departments with large projects when neededRequired Skills

Graphic Design education from an accredited college or technical schoolMinimum of five years designing for commercial printingHigh proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoshopMust be detail orientedExcellent communication and presentation skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft products a plusAcceptable knowledge of social mediaFull-time Monday – FridayOccasional overtime and weekendsRemote working is not allowedBenefits include: PTO, retirement, healthcare and dentalCompensation to be discussed in an interviewPortfolio required
