What You Will DoResponsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting, and selling Commercial Lines insurance products. Counsels and markets to new and existing clients in a professional manner by networking and sourcing new clients. Meets sales and service standards for volume, timeliness, and quality. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company's available services, lines of business, pricing structures and offers additional services as appropriate, to grow targeted profitable revenue and contribute to Credit Union's goals and objectives. Drive the Credit Union's vision, purpose and core values.What We RequireHigh school diploma or equivalent.Current Property/Casualty License.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum of three (3) years of commercial insurance sales experience preferred.Current Texas Property/Casualty License.Skilled in outside sales, prospecting, building referral sources, and professional networks.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced market.Knowledge of commercial rating procedures, coverages, underwriting and industry operations.Extensive knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products and usages.Perform a large number of steps in complex systems with accuracy and speed.Ideal Candidate Will Have:Bachelor degree or equivalent education.5 years sales experience in the commercial insurance market.Industry designation desirable (CPCU, AINS, AIS, CISR).Communicate verbally and in writing to explain complex issues and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.Generate new business sales, retain existing business, and close sales.Proven sales management.Able to read, write and speak Spanish.Thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state and NCUA regulations.Who We Are:Security Service Federal Credit Union is an industry leader who has built a reputation of innovation, strength, and stability.
