We are a morning newspaper located in Southern Illinois in search of an experienced hands-on editor-reporter who can lead our newsroom into new directions with reporting in a changing world.Responsibilities:Lead the newsroom and set an example for staff.Respond to breaking local news promptly.Oversee photography, writing, directing, and reporting activities.Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience in the newspaper industry.Strong knowledge in photography, writing, directing, and reporting.Ability to motivate and inspire staff.We offer benefits such as vacation, sick days, and matching insurance programs for the right candidate.
