Senior System Layout Designer
to become a part of the HIROTEC team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing system layouts of automotive assembly/stamping lines or of various processes.Performing field checks and documenting findings.Creating equipment blocks, modeling generic tooling, and using block libraries.Working with processing, design, and simulation to achieve a valid system layout.Applying tooling/robot placement to attain a functional system.Adhering to customer specifications per project.Having a good understanding of assembly/stamping system functionality including process, design, robotics, controls, and manufacturing knowledge.Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree.Minimum seven to ten years related experience and/or training.Knowledge in blueprint reading, design, processing, controls, and manufacturing.Understanding standard drafting practices, detailing, dimensioning, and projection.Understanding basic manufacturing plant structure, processing, and material flow.Proficient in AutoCAD & FactoryCAD, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Experience in Catia and UniGraphics is preferred.Excellent work environment and benefits await you!
