Japanese trading company for semiconductors seeks a Sales & Marketing Manager.

Job Summary:Sales management to support automotive T1/T2 customers with semiconductor products.Playing manager.Manage Sales, Inside Sales, and FAE team.Manage 10+ key customers with 5+ key suppliers to meet all customer requirements.Day-to-day operational approval process includes P/O, S/O, RFQ, Quality documentation, T&C, or credit.Travel a couple of times a month.Regular office hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the office (Shifting hybrid in FY23).

Program Management:Manage a customer program lifetime cycle from design, PPAP, safe launch, SOP, PCN, allocation, and/or EOL by customer by parts number.Manage all new opportunities till winning a socket, communicating with a supplier and a customer.Perform high-level technical discussions with engineering to increase new opportunities.Obtain program information from a customer to manage production pipeline (supply & demand) or new business opportunity.Keep up to date all customer program information in Excel & PowerPoint as a sales tool in a timely manner.Update monthly automotive market with PowerPoint without delay.

Supply Chain Management:Work with Inside Sales to manage processing quotes, customer forecasts/orders, and book orders to suppliers based on supplier lead time.Order trucking, expedite, push-out or cancel P/O depending on customer requirements, all information must be input in a spreadsheet.Manage supply and demand without creating short-supply or dead inventory based on customer FCT.Understand and manage all N.A. automotive logistics requirements including WMS, Label, barcode, and Traceability to meet all customer needs.

RFQ & Credit Requirements:Negotiate and manage RFQ & cost reduction based on customer programs information to meet customer requirements.All costs, resales, profitability and/or usage must be calculated and analyzed accurately in Excel spreadsheets.Manage to keep profitability during a cost negotiation.

Pricing:Negotiate annual cost reductions between customer and supplier to increase sales & profitability.Propose appropriate RFQ.Create accurate and organized spreadsheets including customer name, parts number, current cost/resale/GP%, proposed future cost down structure, and cost down % against current pricing.

Reporting:Update daily & weekly activities.Review and manage Weekly POS, BKLG, INV to meet company goals.Review and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts with suppliers.Weekly activity report to meet company goals.Customer or supplier visit report to manage & meet all requirements on the same day of the visit.

New Opportunity:Open new design and fulfillment opportunities to meet company goals working together with FAE.

Quality Responsibility:Manage quality processes including PPAP, PCN, Failure analysis, 8D and/or quality documentation between supplier and customer working with the Quality team to meet customer requirements.PCN must be supported by the Quality team without any delay at automotive required support level.Understand automotive level of quality requirements and FA lab process to manage all customer requirements.Provide high-level technical assistance with material verification resolution, specification, or drawing exceptions based on supplier or customer manufacturing-related issues.Manage all traceability data in Excel and/or PowerPoint.Manage all quality-related issues based on customer requested timelines.

Communication:Summarize all business opportunities both verbally and in writing.Accept when an error was made, make a corrective action and improvement plan in a professional manner.Provide professional acknowledgment when advised.Manage all internal/external email, phone calls, or messages without delay to keep our position strong in a timely & professional manner.Be team-oriented.

Other:Travel a couple of times a month.

Minimum Required Skill:3-5 years of experience as Sales & Marketing in semiconductor & automotive industry.Understand, can explain distributor’s position and can perform functions and responsibilities in the semiconductor market.Overtime depends on customer/supplier needs.
