As the

Design Manager, Brand Creative , you will be a driving force behind evolving our brand's visual identity and creative direction. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you’ll join a talented team of creatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute innovative designs that align with our brand's values and objectives. Your design expertise will be instrumental in shaping and evolving our brand's identity across multiple platforms and touchpoints. Within the team, you will not only lead designers, but you will also be observed as a mentor and provide thoughtful feedback throughout the design team, ensuring design best practices and a high-quality standard across projects.

This is a remote-first US position. Or, if desired, you can work in a hybrid model from one of our offices in Boston, MA, Waltham, MA, Gainesville, FL, or Loveland, CO. Whatever you need to be successful!

What you’ll do:

Lead and own dedicated design projects from start to finish while overseeing direct reports and their progress.

Design functional and beautiful creative work that enhances our brand and raises the bar on creative expression.

Interpret strategic needs into best-in-class design solutions for various marketing campaigns and channels, including digital, print, social media, and video.

Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to foster their professional growth.

Monitor work and progress by supervising the work of designers and providing support as needed to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.

Collaborate with team members in design, copy, and cross-functional partners to execute creative briefs while taking proactive initiative to solve problems beyond the briefs.

Pitch creative concepts effectively with clear, informative presentations to stakeholders and internal teams and communicate the rationale behind your designs and strategic recommendations.

Play a pivotal role in contributing to and improving our design culture and fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Exemplify design excellence with a keen eye for detail, craftsmanship, and effective time management.

Work with design leadership to craft, refine, implement, and enforce design vision and strategy across the organization.

Apply a thorough understanding of our brand, marketing strategy, and creative direction to create a throughline across the assets you create.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of the market.

Who you are:

8+ years of design experience, preferably within a large brand or agency.

1-3 years experience managing and leading designers.

Strong branding and graphic design focused background.

Experience in motion design or social media and paid media is a plus.

Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant software. Proficiency in After Effects is a plus.

Ability to create a range of innovative conceptual solutions that are not just visually appealing but are also intuitive and thoughtful.

Strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience influencing, negotiating with, and gaining buy-in from stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Adaptable with the ability to receive and provide feedback.

Possess the enthusiasm and drive to consistently deliver high-quality work with a passion for the craft and exemplifying creative excellence.

Ability to generate a range of engaging design concepts that demonstrate a great sense of aesthetics while executing against the brand vision or brief.

Superior design eye and a strong understanding of design principles and disciplines, including industry trends, specifically across branding.

Strong strategic and conceptual thinker with a solid sense of brand strategy, development, and execution.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent.
