This role is pivotal in shaping how our products are perceived in the market and how they resonate with our target audience. You will lead the charge in crafting compelling narratives, executing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring that Mersive’s offerings are clearly communicated and effectively positioned to drive growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

Own the product marketing lifecycle : Lead the development and execution of comprehensive market strategies for existing and new products, including market research, competitive analysis, positioning, messaging, and launch campaigns.

Sales and product team alignment:

Collaborate closely with sales and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all touchpoints.

Sales enablement:

Create and manage sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, case studies, product demos, and training content.

Global product adoption:

Champion product adoption and growth within a global market, ensuring a consistent and impactful message resonates with target audiences.

Content development:

Work with content marketing to develop and execute lead generation campaigns, track their effectiveness, and manage the creation and updates of website content.

Persona-based messaging:

Develop persona-based messaging, value propositions, and collateral that highlight the unique benefits of Mersive and its partners across various markets.

Product launches:

Coordinate and execute product launches, including messaging, positioning, internal communications, and field/event marketing.

GTM content creation:

Collaborate with sales, product management, and content marketing to develop compelling product marketing content that supports our go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Content creation:

Produce a variety of content, including case studies, videos, ebooks, infographics, and blog posts, to drive awareness and engagement.

Website updates:

Partner with content marketing to ensure the latest messaging is represented by managing the creation and regular updates of website content.

Funnel and sales performance:

Contribute to developing and delivering sales content aimed at improving funnel metrics and overall sales performance.

Strategic product marketing coordination:

Coordinate strategic and tactical product marketing plans in partnership with a broad cross functional team.

Desired Qualifications/Experience

6+ years in software product marketing:

Proven experience in B2B product marketing, ideally within the SaaS sector.

Self-starter mentality:

Deeply curious with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work proactively with minimal supervision.

Messaging and storytelling expertise:

Strong ability to craft persona-based messaging that resonates with target audiences.

Organizational and analytical skills:

Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality.

Communication skills:

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present to executives in digital and in-person events.

Problem-solving ability:

A driven problem-solver with a track record of successfully addressing complex challenges.

Go-to-market strategy experience:

Proven success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B products.

Content creation proficiency:

Expertise in creating compelling content across various formats, ensuring alignment with the B2B buyer journey.

Sales collaboration:

Experience working closely with sales teams to drive product adoption and market penetration.

Immerse yourself in Mersive’s product portfolio, market positioning, and go-to-market strategies. Engage deeply with existing product marketing materials, sales enablement tools, and customer insights. Focus on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, product management, and customers, to understand their needs and perspectives.

Around 60 Days: Explore & Craft

Leverage your growing understanding of the market and customer needs to craft compelling narratives that resonate with Mersive’s target audiences. Be relentlessly curious—conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze competitor positioning to refine messaging. Start implementing these insights into product marketing strategies that reflect Mersive’s innovative approach to collaboration technology.

By 90 Days: Innovate & Drive Growth

Take full ownership of the product marketing function, using your deep market understanding to drive forward innovative strategies. Lead efforts in crafting and sharing stories that position Mersive as a leader in the market. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all messaging and campaigns are aligned with Mersive’s vision and goals. Develop a long-term marketing roadmap that continuously evolves with customer needs and market trends.
