Job Description
What you’ll do:
Uncover what our customers are thinking and turn those insights into the best-in-class user experienceLead concept ideation and iteration with sketching, wireframe development, and prototypesDesign elegant solutions to complex workflowsCollaborate with product management and executives to prioritize the product roadmapCommunicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholdersCollaborate with visual designers to maintain design consistency and coherence across the product as appropriate, collaborate with a product focused User Researcher to aid in the conduct of generative and evaluative research as neededWork on features and products through their entire lifecycle: user research, competitive analysis, product definition, usability testing, launch, and beyondIntegrate UX research and design into our agile development processQualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field, MS preferredExperience with high volume, highly cosmetic electronics enclosure materials and manufacturing processesExperience integrating electromechanical component modules (audio, display, battery, antenna, PCB's, etc.)Strong 3D CAD skills (ProE preferred) including top-down design, robust parametric modelling, and advanced surface generationHands-on experience with shop tools and prototypingDemonstrated project leadership and mentoring skillsAdditional Information
