Job Summary:

The Social Media, Digital Signage, and Website Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the college's social media strategy and website content to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. This role requires creative and analytical skills, including proficiency in social media platforms, content creation, website management, and performance analytics.

Also, as Digital Signage Manager, this position will oversee the development, implementation, and management of digital signage systems across the company. This role ensures that digital signage content engages, effectively communicates key messages, and meets organizational objectives. The Digital Signage Manager will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage hardware and software, optimize content delivery, and analyze the effectiveness of digital signage initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:

Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).

Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.

Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages; respond promptly and professionally.

Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to ensure effective social media practices.

Website Management:

Oversee the college’s website's development, design, and content updates.

Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.

Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics; identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Collaborate with web developers and designers to address technical issues and enhance site functionality.

Manage website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and multimedia elements.

Ensure website security and compliance with data protection regulations.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE STRATEGY AND CONTENT MANAGEMENT:

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital signage strategy aligned with company goals and marketing objectives.

Oversee digital signage software installation, maintenance, and operation.

Create, curate, and manage engaging content for digital signage displays, including video, graphics, and text.

Develop content schedules and coordinate with departments to ensure timely and relevant content updates.

Collaborate with IT and external vendors for technical support and system upgrades.

Analyze the performance of digital signage initiatives using metrics and feedback to assess effectiveness and impact.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align digital signage efforts with broader marketing and communication strategies.

Content Creation and Strategy:

Develop social media and website content calendars, aligning with marketing campaigns and business objectives.

Write, edit, and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation.

Conduct audience research to tailor content to target demographics and improve engagement.

Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and website activities.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize strategies and achieve goals.

Prepare regular reports for management on social media and website performance.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Work with marketing, design, and sales teams to align social media and website efforts with overall business goals.

Coordinate with external vendors or agencies for additional support or services.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience managing social media platforms and website content.

Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

Experience with SEO, PPC, and digital marketing best practices.

Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).

Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development principles.

Certification in social media management or digital marketing.

Experience with digital signage analytics and data interpretation.
