$65,000 - $70,000 per yearSUMMARY:The Manager, Marketing & Communications, serves as part of the Communications Team and supports its work with fundholders, prospective donors, and community outreach efforts. This position will help create materials for donor and community engagement, contribute to the development and updating of CFTB website, and develop compelling and clear messaging to the various stakeholders through multiple communication channels including social, print, digital, and media. Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills and have in-depth knowledge of marketing and communication strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(including, but not limited to) :Write content for both print and web including the company website, blog, brochures, social media posts and newsletters.Support the planning and execution of communication strategies for various constituent groups including donors, potential donors, nonprofits, and the general community.Manage the company’s social media and online presence.Organize and direct brand standards across platforms, promotional items, and branded collateral.Research industry best practices and make recommendations based on opportunities.Assess and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.Coordinate communications and projects with creative agencies, vendors, etc.Support the training of staff on brand standards, public messaging, and engaging with the media.Other tasks and duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, public relations, journalism, or related field, required.A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in a marketing or communications position.Experience with nonprofit communication and/or fund development, preferred.SKILLS REQUIRED:Strong time management, people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong writing, grammar, and punctuation skills.Advanced computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.Proficiency with the following marketing tools and digital platforms, preferred:Google Analytics, Ads, Data Studio, Google My Business, and Google Business Suite, including Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Chat.Email marketing platforms: Mailchimp or similar.Social media management platforms: Loomly or similar.Design platforms: Canva or similar.Tools such as Webflow, Wordpress, and other website CMS tools for content updates and blog publishing.Proficiency in various conference technology (hardware and software), including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively with staff, clients, committee members, and Board of Trustees.BEHAVIORS REQUIRED:Customer-service orientation.Highly motivated with the ability to show initiative.Ability to be discreet and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.Ability to handle diverse, simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines, and attend to follow through.A positive outlook and vision.Must stand by the service we deliver.Strong professionalism both in appearance and presentation.Ability to work independently and in teams/groups.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Light to moderate physical activity performing daily activities of an administrative nature to include:Sitting, standing, and/or walking for an extended period of time.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Working in a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.Using manual dexterity sufficient to handle/reach items and work with hands and fingers.Using close, distant, and peripheral vision and depth perception.TRAVEL DEMANDS:Local travel is required.Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to various community-based meetings and events.No job description or policy of Community Foundation Tampa Bay may be interpreted to allow any employee or representative to violate local, state, or federal law.Job Type:
